Thinking of new Office for Ajinomoto our purpose was to create special space, that would compliment the company, be its visitcard and also bring new qualities for people who are working in the Office as well as visitors. We tried to emphasize its rich traditions and Japanese roots by simple, elegant treatment of space, yet modern anc comfortable. Company’s motto Eat Well, Live Well brings us close to nature which we tried to emphasize by natural materials. Wood, stone and bare concrete creates link between Ajinomoto corporate identity and its green approach. Natural color palette was used.

Inspired by Barry Callebaut rich heritage and ‘’company’s personality’’ design oscillated around chocolate chareacteristics. Instead of concentrating on many brands and their guidelines we decided to focus on most important – chocolate! We tried to create environment that would fit the variety of products that Barry Callebaut and it’s family companies spoil us every day. Delicious colors, inspiring shapes, elegant treats – are abstracted to create chic architectural environment for the office.Chocolate Academy as an important part of the project is designed in a way that every guest could admire it’s magic while entering Barry Callebaut Istanbul. Focused on the most efficient layout for the workshop, hygenic environment with bright colors was designed.
