Unilever Factory Office

Studio 13 Architects realized the design and build project for the Unilever Vector offices and laboratories of the factory established on an area of 84.000 m² (including their brands Omo, Domestos, Rinso, Clear, Dove, signal, Rexona Factory) located in Konya, Turkey.

Natural and environmentally friendly materials were used in interior design and material selection. The use of colors, graffiti, icons and visuals in the architectural project were designed to fit both the corporate identity and the creation of a fun and modern atmosphere.

Inspired by Schneider Electric individuality and rich brand identity we tried to create
office space that would be special and very characteristic, showing soul of the company.
For employees to feel attached and comfortable as well as for visitors to recognise
Schneider identity and feel accustomed with company’s values.
According to Schneider’s motto ‘’Life is On’’ interior design is simple and natural with
green accents. Concept layout is flexible for different working style – according to the
concept of ‘’Future of workplace’’.
We tried to keep the spaces energetic and full of light.

Unilever Lipton Knorr

Unilever Besan Istanbul Office project is located in Istanbul,Tuzla. As we all know, Unilever has a very strong brand identity and we wanted to emphasize this brand identity from the facade to every corner of the interior of the factory. The color scheme of the facade is chosen from color wheel in the brand identity of the Unilever.

A remarkable but also fast and economical solution was made for facade design of the factory. Boardex panel, plaster and paint were preferred. In order to exhibit the products in the interior, the product exhibition cabinets were used for entrance area. The simple and neutral colors were generally used for interior.But with the use of colorful furniture the cold feeling of the “ lab” is balanced.

Lipton and Knorr are the brands of the food and beverage industry because of that hygienic atmosphere has been designed for interior and laboratory areas. The partially use of white light also increased this effect for certain areas.

In order to avoid feeling of the “lab” balance was achieved with wood veneers with colorful furniture and plant use. Each meeting room was inspired by the icons on the Unilever’s logo, and different color themes were used for each one. Colorful and vivid color palette was used.

Inspired by Architecht’s innovative side and its core value – visionary, collaborative, dynamic, responsible – we aspired to design a space that is not only Workplace of the Future but also belongs to Architecht. We focused on freedom and mobility which creates the different collaboration styles and ensures all staff can find right environment for their business activity, at the same time making sure that we enhanced the value and utilisation of space.During designing process we tried to create environment that is bright with natural color palette, entertaining. In particular, the triangular forms used in the logo have been interpreted in an abstract manner as architectural elements in space.

Thinking of new Office for Ajinomoto our purpose was to create special space, that would compliment the company, be its visitcard and also bring new qualities for people who are working in the Office as well as visitors. We tried to emphasize its rich traditions and Japanese roots by simple, elegant treatment of space, yet modern anc comfortable. Company’s motto Eat Well, Live Well brings us close to nature which we tried to emphasize by natural materials. Wood, stone and bare concrete creates link between Ajinomoto corporate identity and its green approach. Natural color palette was used.
